International Women's Day Celebration
The annual theme “Men and Women United to End Violence against Women and Girls” celebrated the 2010 International Women’s Day held at Ajao Estate Junior High School on March 9, 2010. The AHI representatives gave a presentation on sexual harassment, sexual abuse, harmful traditional practices, gender roles which include the importance of education for female children. The presentation also discussed the causes and consequences of violence against women and girls. The session was very participatory and attracted a total of 50 HLPC students form Apostolic faith High School, Anthony Model Primary School, Anthony Village High School, Aladura Comprehensive High School.
