As part of achieving Action Health Incorporated’s (AHI) goal to developing the health and well-being of the young people in Nigeria, the organization engaged in-school young people from Somolu, Kosofe, Yaba and Bariga secondary schools to compete in its special Spelling Bee Competition tagged, "Spelling Bee on Sexuality".

The programme commenced with a welcome address from a Youth Assistant and subsequently an introduction of AHI’s activities and facilities such as health education and counseling, library and access to resource materials, sexual and reproductive health information and services. Energizers, songs, riddles and icebreakers were introduced to make the day fun filled and participatory.
There were 10 schools from each category of senior and junior schools. The first category was for the senior schools with the 10 schools competing as they were made to spell 5 words from the first round to screen them to 5 schools that then competed in the second round for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th positions respectively. The words spelt by the representatives of each school were vocabularies used in sexuality education. The same process was repeated for the junior school category but with relatively simpler words.
For the senior category, Baptist Senior High School, Obanikoro took the first position, Wesley Girls Senior Secondary School, Yaba was second, Eva Adelaja Girls Senior Secondary School, Bariga took the third position, Angus Memorial Senior High School, Igbobi-Yaba was fourth and Birrel Avenue Senior High School, Sabo, Yaba took the fifth positions.
For the junior category, Aiyedere Ajibola took the first position, St. Luke’s junior High School was second, Morocco Comprehensive Junior School was third, Gbagada Girls came fourth then Gbagada Junior High School took the fifth position.
At the end of the competition, gifts were awarded to the emerging winners to reward and appreciate their efforts as well as encourage them. The event came to a close with a loud applause and roaring from the students as it was a learning process and an opportunity to develop their analytical thinking skills.|
