| Yola and Maiduguri Schools For Married Adolescent Girls Get Crèches, Clinics, Bore Holes, Kitchenette and Toilet Facilities The residents of Yola and Maiduguri gathered to witness the grand launch of childcare, health and sanitation facilities in the schools designated for married adolescent girls in Adamawa and Borno States on the 16th and 18th February respectively. | Two Hundred Anti-Smoking Ambassadors Trained Action Health Incorporated organized a 3-day Peer Education Training on “Youth Smoking Prevention” for 200 young people and 10 coordinating teachers from 22nd -27th February 2010 (two batches of 100 per batch). | Training on Human Sexuality and Adolescent Friendly Health Services For Student Nurses Forty-two (42) student nurses divided into two (2) batches were trained Adolescent Friendly Health Services from May 4-14, 2009. The capacity building workshop which took place at the AHI Youth Centre aimed at promoting learning in adolescent health services in order to improve the quality of care to adolescent clients. | International Cultural Youth Exchange Volunteers Visit AHI Action Health Incorporated (AHI) on February 25, 2009 played host to members of the International Cultural Youth Exchange (ICYE). They were received on arrival by the Executive Director, AHI, Mrs. Nike Esiet who welcomed them to the organization and were later taken round the facilities.
