Action Health Incorporated on February 15, 2007 hosted a team from the Ford Foundation. The team comprised, Mr. Pablo Farias, Vice President for Assets; Mr. Jacob Gayle, Deputy Vice President, HIV/AIDS Initiative and Mr. Frank DeGiovanni, Director, Economic Development.

Accompanied on the visit were Dr. Adhiambo Odaga, Country Representative for West Africa; Dr. Babatunde Ahonsi, Senior Programme Officer and Mrs. Margie Reese (Media, Arts and Culture).

The team had the opportunity of touring the various units of AHI and interacting with young people and staff. At the Africa Regional Sexuality Resource Centre (ARSRC), a project of AHI, The Director, Dr. Richmond Tiemoko made a brief presentation sharing the Centre’s programming experiences and progress made in implementing projects supported by the Foundation. This was briefly followed by the question and answer session. The team later met with the Management of AHI.
