1. Background

SoftLife247 (www.softlife247.com) is a digital learning platform dedicated to providing Nigerian adolescents and young people aged 10–24 with accessible, age-appropriate Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) content. The platform plays a critical role in equipping young people with accurate information, life skills, and resources to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

A detailed Content and Pedagogical Review of SoftLife247 was conducted, with gaps identified in content coverage, pedagogical approach, user engagement, and alignment with emerging issues affecting young people in Nigeria. These findings highlight the urgent need to adapt and strengthen the platform to ensure it remains relevant, responsive, and effective in addressing the evolving needs of its target audience.

AHI seeks a Content Developer/Reviewer to act on the findings of that review and prepare a revised, ready-to-publish content set for the redesigned platform.

2. Objective

To review the existing SoftLife247 content against the attached findings and deliver a corrected, de-duplicated, properly sequenced, and evidence-based content set — including an approved quiz question bank and content briefs for interactive/animated exercises.

3. Scope of Work

• Review all existing website content against findings and produce a short gap report.
• Remove duplication, fix inconsistent terminology, and resequence/rewrite content as needed.
• Develop an evidence-based section with proper referencing (UNFPA, UNESCO, WHO, ITGSE).
• Audit and expand the quiz question bank (remove duplicates, add explanations, consistent scoring).
• Write content briefs/scripts for the interactive and animated exercises to be produced by the Animator.
• Deliver a terminology/style guide for AHI’s future use.

5. Eligibility

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in content development, editorial writing, or curriculum review.
• Knowledge of CSE/SRHR content is mandatory.
• Strong editorial/writing skills; ability to write content briefs for animation/interactive use.
• Applicants residing in Nigeria are encouraged to apply.
• Young people (including young professionals and creatives) are encouraged to apply.

6. Submission Requirements

• Writing samples/portfolio (at least 2 comparable projects).
