Humanitarian Programmes
Background
Action Health Incorporated (AHI) has actively supported the efforts of Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe (BAY) State Governments in mitigating the impact of conflicts on people in these states, particularly women, adolescent girls, and children.
AHI has established partnerships and collaborations with various stakeholders, including the BAY state ministries of Women Affairs and Social Development, Health, Education, Primary Healthcare Boards, SUBEB / Local Government Education Authorities; Traditional Institutions; the technical Humanitarian response streams: Protection Sector, GBV Sector, WASH Sector, Education Sector; and civil society organizations.
Through these partnerships and collaborations, and with funding support from donors such as the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund (NHF) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), AHI has co-created and implemented innovative projects that have reached millions of people across the region.
