We are seeking passionate individuals to join our dynamic team working on a project in Borno State, Nigeria. This project aims to improve access to quality, life-saving services and strengthen community resilience through a comprehensive, multi-pronged approach that integrates preventive and curative healthcare, nutritional support, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and response.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

  • MEAL Officer – Health: Develop and implement the project’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) framework, with a specific focus on health-related activities. The MEAL Officer will collect and analyze data, track progress against indicators, and provide recommendations for improvement.- https://bit.ly/AHIMEAL
  • Health Coordinator – Health: Provide technical guidance and support to the project’s health activities, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices. The Health Coordinator will work closely with health staff and partners to implement healthcare interventions and monitor their impact.-https://bit.ly/AHIHealthCoordinator
  • RCCE – Risk Communication Officer – Health: Develop and implement risk communication strategies to promote healthy behaviors and prevent the spread of disease. The RCCE Officer will collaborate with communities to raise awareness about health risks and promote healthy practices.- https://bit.ly/AHIRCCEOfficer
  • MHPSS Specialist: Provide mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services to project beneficiaries, including individual counseling, group therapy, and community-based support. –https://bit.ly/AHIMHPSS
  • Gender and Protection Officer: Ensure that gender and protection considerations are integrated into all aspects of the project. The Gender and Protection Officer will provide training and support to project staff and partners on gender equality and protection issues.https://bit.ly/AHIGenderOfficer
  • LGA Programme/Project Officer: Coordinate project activities at the Local Government Area (LGA) level, working closely with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders. The LGA Programme/Project Officer will ensure that project activities are aligned with local needs and priorities.-https://bit.ly/AHILGAOfficer
  • LGA Clinical Supervisors: Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to nurses and midwives working in health facilities at the LGA level. The LGA Clinical Supervisors will ensure that healthcare providers are delivering quality care and adhering to clinical guidelines.-https://bit.ly/AHIClinicalSupervisor
  • Nurses/Midwives: Provide essential healthcare services at designated health facilities, including antenatal care, delivery services, postnatal care, and family planning.- https://bit.ly/AHINurses
  • Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs): Provide basic healthcare services to communities, including health education, disease prevention, and referrals to health facilities.-https://bit.ly/AHICHEWS
  • Community Health Volunteers (CHVs): Support the work of CHEWs by conducting health education sessions, identifying and referring patients, and promoting healthy behaviors in their communities.https://bit.ly/AHICHVs
