WIMBIZ recently organized a town hall meeting in Lagos. The aim of the event was to create a platform where people can proffer practical solutions to the growing challenges faced by the girl-child, especially in the Northern parts of Nigeria.
Individuals, NGOs, Corporate organizations and even the government were present. It was not anything close to playing the blame-game, finger-point, and accusation-filled kind of event. It was strictly solution-focused and I hope the suggestions raised will be really followed up.
